Kirkus Offers Three $50,000 Prizes: Kirkus, the renowned book review journal, announced it will award three $50,000 prizes annually, in the categories of Fiction, Nonfiction, and Young Readers’ Literature. The first awards will come from books that receive a Kirkus starred review, and are published Oct. 1, 2013 to Sept. 30, 2014.
