YALSA launched its Teen Read Week 2012 website at http://teenreadweek.ning.com/ . Teen Read Week will be celebrated Oct. 14-20, with a theme of It Came from the Library, which dares teens to read for the fun of it. Registration is open at the website and is free. Visitors to the site will find information about Teen Read Week 2012, including: planning, the logo, grants, forums, showcase of ideas, and products. Teen Read Week is a national initiative aimed at teens, their parents, librarians and teachers, and booksellers, with the goal of increasing the number of teens who are regular readers and library users.
